Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)

Commonly known as a "tummy tuck", this procedure is used to remove excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen. The abdominal muscles can be tightened to narrow the waistline if they have been separated or stretched with pregnancy. This procedure is most commonly performed following pregnancy or a large weight loss. Following surgery, a flatter and narrower abdomen is achieved, with the incision line concealed just above the pubic area. Ideal candidates are those that are non-smokers, close to their ideal body weight, and have redundant skin within their lower abdomen.
